The South-East Asia Prayer Council was started in 2003, after the first South-East Asia Prayer Consultation (SEAPC) was held in Sihanouk Ville, Cambodia.  For the first time, representatives from the nations in South-East Asia met together to hear what God is doing in each of our nation and the challenges faced, so that we can pray for one another.  Our goal is to expand our horizon to pray not only for our own nation, but for the nations in our region for God to bring revival and true transformation, not just in our nation, but in South-East Asia as a whole.

Since the first meeting, we have been gathering annually in different nations of our region, to share prayer needs, pray and prophesy over each other’s nations and receive training in prayer and intercession.  Each year, the city in which we meet receives great blessing from the Lord after our Consultation.

This year, we will join with the Indonesian National Prayer Network (JDN) in their national conference.  The nations of South-East Asia will come to bless Indonesia with stories of God’s marvelous works in each nation and to pray blessing on this great nation.  In turn, Indonesia will bless the nations by welcoming them and sharing in fellowship and mutual encouragement.

This will be the first year that SEAPC will join hands with Transform South-East Asia (TSEA) to work together for the transformation of this region.  By combining the synergy of both networks through prayer and action, we want to see the fulfillment of Habakkuk 2:14: “to fill South-East Asia with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”
